I just saw the ABC article which mentioned you and when you said “I think for a lot of women, work is not necessary. It’s a preference. Life is too short not to do the things that are going to bring you joy”. Not necessary for a lot of women to work? Talk about being out of touch with reality. Must be nice to have your kind of life. What most people fail to realize is that most of the time, it is not the woman's choice. Not many women actually make that choice of their own free will. I've heard stories of women whose boyfriends threatened to leave, if they didn't abort. I've also heard stories of parents threatening to kick out and disown their daughters if they don't abort. Where is the choice in either of these scenarios? And what I don't hear, people on either side of the political aisle talking about, is how it's actually illegal in all 50 states to force a woman (including a minor) into having an abortion.

I love my colored hair and tattoos! I have a medical condition that makes me not have control of my body sometimes. Coloring my hair and getting tattoos are the best way to have control. If a guy can’t handle me who works, and has her own strong personality, I’m looking for the wrong guy

Typical housewife and stay at home homeschooling mother here. I’ve had several atypical hair colors because my daughter (as most girls under the age of 13) loves bright colors. Every summer we use temporary dye because it’s fun for her and she wants me to match. It comes out in a couple months and it’s back to her natural blonde by the time school starts in the fall. It’s a fun summer memory she’ll have about her mother forever. It’s condescending ideas like this that always repulsed me about conservatives in general (as a conservative who grew up in a conservative family) I’m glad my parents let me experiment a bit in my teens without freaking out about something as benign as hair color. I didn’t get much grace from my church, but my parents did my best to protect me from that. I still bore the brunt of their condescension, but they always defended me with a “if dying here hair weird colors is the worst thing she does, she’ll be fine.” Btw, the one who got after me the most about it wouldn’t let their daughters hang out with me for fear of my “bad influence”. They all had kids before they were married. So that controlling thought process backfired on him real hard. Lighten up a bit. Sometimes it’s really not that deep.

I normally like you, but this is reaching. Having fun with your hair has nothing to do with where you are in life. I'm a wife, sahm, and i live a full happy life with my pink hair. You should not have to live your life wondering what others think of your hair color. It's the easiest thing to change on your body, enjoy it.

I like your content, but this is shallow. You're preaching to the choir about the "blue-haired SJW" stereotype and frankly it's outplayed. (To be clear, I don't know anyone with unnaturally colored hair. I just think you can make more interesting and meaningful content than this, and I miss that.)
